Henkel
Adhesives Technologies
CHALLENGE
Increasing the knowledge of Supply Chain professionals worldwide to pivot towards a customer-centric organisation
Henkel Adhesive Technologies recognises the need to exceed customer needs, drive outstanding business performance and create competitive advantage by transforming Henkel into a true customer-centric organisation.
SOLUTION
A complete and comprehensive value chain academy is developed, tailored to the Henkel situation

The global The Henkel Supply Chain Campus is created to take a major step towards transforming Henkel into a true customer-centric organisation.
This comprehensive academy focuses on the development of the professional expertise, brings alignment and common understanding of Supply Chain best practises across all Henkel’s Supply Chain professionals and teams in all regions..

The overall learning program is tailored to the Henkel situation and covers all Henkel Supply Chain activities. For the different functions separate learning paths have been developed. All with a blend of different learning blocks to maximise the learning effect but all with a different focus and approach.

For Supply Planning there was a large focus on assessment with a randomized subset of 40 questions covering different topics. For Demand Planning a short questionnaire determined which eLearning course the participants could best follow preceding the next step which was classroom training.

For Customer Service we developed an instructor-led interactive workshop with role-plays, exercises and discussions. This is followed up by Learning on the Job, team-based coaching to apply the strategic initiatives derived from the workshop phase.
